We would like to enclose lyophilised bacteria in membranes with MWCO-size 25000d, sealing them by heat.
1. Do you sell such PVDF-membranes (tubes or flat-sheets)with this pore-size?
2. can we seal them by heat?
3. is it possible to store this in a dry athmosphere? (the bacteria start growing when wet)

 | Unfortunately the smallest MWCO in PVDF membranes that Spectrum sells is 80,000. Are you sure that you need a 12,000 MWCO? The pores in the 80,000 MWCO are less than 0.01 micron.
Spectrum's PVDF membranes can be heat sealed. Instructions are provided in the cellmax implant manual available at http://www.spectrapor.com/cellco/cellmaximplants.pdf.
Unforunately, drying the membranes out is usually not a good idea. It tends to close the pores in the membrane.
