| I want to remove Tween 20 from my protein sample, what type of dialysing tubing should I then use? | | |

 | Unfortunately soaps, like Tween 20, are hard to dialyze. The non-polar parts tends to dissolve into the membrane and the polar parts then sit in the pores, reducing the dialysis rate. Your best bet is to use the largest MWCO membrane that will retain the proteins you wish to keep. It does not particularly matter whether its s CE or an RC membrane. |
