Hello,
I'll go to begin soon the test of separation of free selenium and Se in proteins, but for the pretraitement have you got more information than on your site? Is it necessary to do it before use?
Thank you
Armelle

I'm not sure what type of membrane you've selected. If it's one of the membranes suppplied wet, all you need to do is rinse it in water or the medium you're using to rinse out the preservative. If you can live with a little sodium azide in your solution you don't even need to do that.

If you're going to use one of the "dry" membranes you'll need to soak it in water or the medium you're using for at least an hour or so. The "dry" membranes are really filled with glycerin and you need to wash the glycerin out.

That's really all that is needed. If you need sterility or if you're going to try to change the MWCO then there are other things you can do as well.

Thanks for visiting.
