We recommend using the Cellulose Ester (CE) whenever possible since it is available in a greater range of MWCOs. Regenerated Cellulose (RC) membranes are more suitable for use with some organic solvents and over a greater pH range. The chemical compatibility of the different membrane types is listed at http://www.spectrapor.com/dialysis/chemical_compatibility.html. CE membranes are not for use over 60°C
