blood leak in the armamanimo2008-12-01Click here to register.
My dad has been on dialysis for a while, but this has never happened until recently: the technician somehow messed up when inserting the needle in my dad's arm, and all this blood started leaking into his arm! His arm was swollen with blood that had spilled out from his vein and under the skin, and it was extremely painful. They skipped the session, iced his arm and told him to go to the ER if the swelling didn't go down in a few hours. Is this a normal occurance or a really incompetent technician?
